Day #19: Lumen Gentium 7

After yesterday looking at some of the scriptural images of the Church, today’s reading from the Dogmatic Constitution on the Church looks at the most recognizable and probably the most profound: the Church as the Body of Christ.

Scripture citation #61 and Footnote 37 come at the end of the fourth paragraph (“…He fills the whole body with the riches of His glory”).  These citations are missing from the Vatican website.
