Day #90: Sacrosanctum Concilium 88-90

Our reading in the Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy picks up where we left off yesterday and gives some of the concrete recommendations for the Liturgy of the Hours going forward.

The Council raises up Lauds (morning prayer) and Vespers (evening prayer) as “the two hinges on which the daily office turns” (article 89). Some of the other hours are to be modified or suppressed.

No Scripture references or footnotes.
