Today in the Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy, we begin Chapter VII on Sacred Art and Furnishings. This is the final chapter of the document.
Article 122 introduces the chapter by calling to mind the importance of sacred art and the Churcch’s interest in passing judgment upon them. The Church does not adopt a single form of art (article 123) and the bishops take care to see that sacred places are worthily ornamented (article 124).
