Today we conclude Part One of the Pastoral Constitution on the Church in the Modern World.
As per usual, Chapter 4 concludes by bringing out attention back to Christ. We do not want to lose sight of the fact that the entire purpose of all this dialogue and learning from each other is to bring everyone to salvation in Christ. “The Lord is the goal of human history, the focal point of the longings of history and of civilization, the center of the human race, the joy of every heart and the answer to all its yearnings.”
