Day #151: Gaudium Et Spes 71-72

Today we conclude Chapter 3 of Part II in the Pastoral Constitution on the Church in the Modern World.

Whereas yesterday’s reading focused on the “universal destination of earthly goods”, today’s reading balances out the picture with a closer look at the importance of individual property ownership.  Today’s passage also reflects on public property

Article 72 closes things out with a final call to arms for the faithful to bring these Christian principles to bear in the public sphere.
