Day #187: Dignitatis Humanae 3

Today we continue on in the Declaration on Religious Freedom.

Article 3 continues to flesh things out.  One of the important points made in this passage is how our social nature means that religious expression is not a private matter.  Human beings will always strive to share the truth as they see it because of our social nature.  Civil society can neither suppress nor mandate these forms of religious expression.
