Day #233: Presbyterorum Ordinis 6

Today in the Decree on the Ministry and Life of Priests, we finish section 1 of chapter 2 with out look at the functions of priests.

We have thus far looked at priests role as preachers of the Word (article 4) and ministers of the sacraments (article 5).  In article 6, we look at priests as shepherds and fathers — in short, as pastors.
