Day #330: Unitatis Redintegratio 2

Today in the Decree on Ecumenism, we begin Chapter I on “Catholic Principles on Ecumenism.”

Article 2 begins this chapter by deftly summarizing the core of all ecclesiology in just a few paragraphs.  Jesus came to reveal the Father’s love and save us through his Paschal sacrifice.  He appointed the twelve apostles and sent the Holy Spirit to guide the Church and prays for us all to be one.
