Day #352: Orientalium Ecclesiarum 16-18

Today in the Decree on the Catholic Churches of the Eastern Rite, we conclude our look at “The Discipline of the Sacraments.”

in this portion, the Council Fathers discuss the Sacraments of Confession (article 16), Holy Orders (article 17), and marriage (article 18).  Article 17 calls for a restoration of the permanent diaconate.
