In today’s excerpt from the Dogmatic Constitution on the Church, we continue with our reflection of the Blessed Mother.  Today we look at her role in salvation history, both her being forshadowed in the Old Testament (article 55) and her cooperation in the Incarnation (article 56).

Day #55: Lumen Gentium 48

In today’s reading from the Dogmatic Constitution on the Church, we begin Chapter VII on “The Eschatological Nature of the Pilgrim Church and Its Union with the Church in Heaven.”  We cannot talk of the Church without looking at the prefection of the Church in heaven.
